2015 N4 with walnut body in stock!

The biggest feature of this model is the walnut body. This is a spec that is used by many artists in Japan, and the amount in circulation is very small. This one is also figured and finished in 1pcs. Maple neck with bird's eye and 22F ebony fingerboard. 59 PU on the front and L-500 on the rear. The bridge is equipped with the original Floyd Rose.
The body is smaller than a normal Strat-type guitar and fits Japanese physique well. The control layout has been simplified to the utmost limit with only one volume control, allowing the player to directly output various tones according to his/her sensitivity.
The neck joint features "stephan's extended cutaway," the most distinctive feature of the N4. This is a joint method developed by Stephan Davies, who did not want the usual 4-point bolt-on joint to interfere with playing at the high frets. This joint was developed with the concept of reducing playing stress at the high frets as much as possible by joining the neck and body with five bolts from the cutaway.
A new feature introduced in late 2013 is the ability to lock the arm-up by turning a small hole on the backside of the body with an Allen wrench. This feature not only reduces the time spent tuning the Floyd Rose, but also allows for easy tuning down without adjusting the Floyd Rose spring for light down tuning.

The body is shiny and has small dents. The upper right side of the rear PU is shiny due to friction from playing. There is a very small ding on the side of the body end strap pin. The bridge has some chinks and there is some chrome loss around the 6th string saddle. There was a high neck that is typical of Stefan's work when he first received the guitar, but it has been repaired by correcting the fretboard and replacing the frets.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten. There are no string marks on the frets and about 90% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

The neck has been fixed by fingerboard correction and fret replacement, so it will be safe in the future. The neck has been fixed with a fretboard correction and fret replacement. This is a popular model that is rarely distributed, so be sure to get it soon!

最大の特徴はウォルナットボディの採用。国内アーティストがこぞって使用するスペックで、流通量は少なめ。またこちらの個体にはフィギュアドが入り、尚且つ1pcsで仕上げられた一本。メイプルネックにはバーズアイが入り、指板面はエボニー指板22F仕様。PUはおなじみのフロントが59、リアはL-500をマウント。ブリッジはオリジナルフロイドローズ搭載です。
通常のストラトタイプのギターよりも小振りのボディーは日本人の体格にもしっかりフィット。コントロールレイアウトも１ヴォリュームのみと極限までシンプルになっており弾き手の感性次第で様々な音色をダイレクトにアウトプット。
ネックジョイントにはN4の最も特徴的な部分である｢stephan's extended cutaway｣を採用。これは通常の４点止めのボルトオン・ジョイントではどうしてもハイフレット部で演奏する際ジョイントが演奏の妨げになってしまうのを嫌ったステファン・デイビースが開発したジョイント方法でカッタウェイ部分から５本のボルトでネックとボディーを接合する事によりハイフレット部分での演奏ストレスを可能な限り減らす事をコンセプトに開発されました。
2013年後半からの新機能としてボディ裏面にある小さな穴から六角レンチで回すことによりアームアップをロックする事が可能となっております。この機能によりフロイドローズのチューニングに費やす時間を短縮出来るだけでなく、軽いダウンチューニングであればフロイドローズのスプリングの調整しなくても簡単にチューニングダウンが可能です。

ボディにはテカリと小さな打痕があります。リアPU右上にプレイによる摩擦でテカリが発生しております。ボディエンドストラップピン脇にほんの小さな打痕があります。ブリッジ部分にはクスミがあり、6弦サドル周辺にはメッキ落ちがあります。入荷時にステファンあるあるのネックのハイ起きがありましたが、指板修正&フレット交換でキレイに修復されており、その作業自体は言われなければ分からないレベルです。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは9割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的にはテカリはあるものの打痕等は少なく、ネックも指板修正&フレット交換でしっかりと修正され今後も安心です。派手な使用感もなく気に入って丁寧に扱っていたことが窺い知れる一本。流通量少なめの人気モデルにつきお早めにどうぞ!
